2015 Legacy - air vents switch open / closed without user input

Hey all -

I have a 2015 Legacy that we've had since new. Recently, when the air is blowing (AC on or off), through the dash vents the air will automatically start blowing out the vents by your feet without any user inputs.

Is their an actuator that could malfunction causing the air to be redirected from the dash vents to the floor?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
