2010 Subaru Legacy premium torque solenoid replacement in the 690 Transmission

I replaced the torque solenoid on the 690 transmission in my son‘s college car having to pinch money. All the codes cleared while I worked on it apparently. No Codes showing presently. However, I was going to do the relearn and the car only has reverse. If I put it in reverse the wheels turned backwards if I put it in drive again, the wheels turn backwards. Has anybody seen this before? Is it likely I pinched a wire or is there something else when I was reassembling?
New solenoid at 12.2 ohms the first scanner I had tried it doesn’t do relearn so that has not been done yet. But I didn’t think that would make reverse change from drive.
