Hello,

New owner of a 2010 Legacy 3.6R that needed the valve cover gaskets addressed + some other issues. So I did replace both sides and the driver side has been pretty dry.. Not the same for the pax side. I did not use RTV for any of the sides. Based on the info on the internet, that seems to be the right way... Would you guys agree?

The pax side is coming out again and I will use RTV(recommendations)+ I will reuse the new gasket currently installed. Where exactly should I apply for the RTV? Please refer to the pictures I am attaching with the current leaks.

Another leak I am noticing is at the oil cooler. I have yet to change the oil on this car but once the filter is removed, is there any kind of gasket further in that can create this leak? Attaching picture.

Another thing I noticed is I am getting the amber oil light for the first time after the repair. The car was sitting outside for a couple of days in super cold weather. The oil level is at the max so I am not sure why am I getting this. Even after warm up it still stays on.

And one last thing... The radiator fans are constantly running. Regardless of temp. The moment you flick the key they start. I swapped the relay with an identical one ( I believe the wipers) and there was no change. I believe the relay is OK.
