2007 Impreza Hates 30 mph

New 2 Soob

Love my (relatively) new Impreza wagon - 16,000.
Car has hated 30 mph since I bought it. Dealer said, "It will work itself
out."
It hasn't.
at 30 mph, barely touching acc. pedal, level or headed downhill, she bucks
like a bronco. (the 4 legged one).
Anybody else know this problem?
TIA

Yes, this is a known problem, something to do with the ECU programming and
closed loop/open loop. Subaru released a reflash back in February but it
did not fix this.

What's your RPMs? Never apply power at under 2,000 RPM.

My 2001 did that with the combination of low ATF and a flakey O2 sensor. I
think the ECU got confused because data was not in parameters.

If it's an automatic, you can shift to "2" or "N" and it will stop.

I imagine if you live in a hilly or mountainous area that could be quite
annoying.

Yes! shifting to "N" at 30 MPH will certainly stop that problem (is this guy
for real)
