Hi Everyone,

I'm new to this forum, any help much appreciated.
Need to know where I am with my 2007 Forester manual bought in 2014 at around 100,000kms.
Cam belt was replaced at 98,000kms (previous owner). Clutch replaced at 150000kms.
The car now has 205,000kms (about 100,000 of kms since i bought it in 2014).
Subaru Australia recommend interval of "60 months or 125,000kms".
So its well past the 60 months of my ownership.
Car has been regularly serviced and other than ball joint noise and a few rattles, is fine to drive.

At what point, should I get the cam belt (and related components) replaced? Now?
What is the max kms that this EJ253 motor can run on the same cam belt before...catastrophe?
Thanks!

Usually subi belts last about 7 years or 100k miles. I mean you can keep running the belt as long as you want, you can look at it and see if its eroding away. But i think usually it needs to be replaced around 100k miles.
