2005 Forester problems

Took car in for repair. Cruise Control had stopped working cc light was flashing and check engine light was on. They had to remove intake manifold to replace brittle hose cracked during repair. They replaced several other old hoses at my request while the manifold was off. The cc still does not work but my main concern is that now it takes about 8 seconds of cranking to start the car ( every time hot or cold). Also power steering fluid foamed up and spilled over and doesn’t sound great. Suggestions please!
