Hi
I recently brought a 2002 outback. All was fine until I was in a trip and the radiator hose split. I replaced that no worries but since then it has started overheating on long trips. Around town is fine no over heating but if I travel more than 100ks it overheats.

Maybe some air in the coolant system. Try to rev cold car on the uphill with opened coolant system
