My Foresters ( I have 2 of these bought at the same time) have just come due for their one year maintenance. I have found maintenance schedules with my owner's manual, but nothing that tells me exactly what is typically done during this maintenance.
Sorry for the bad typing--recovering from a brooken back.
On the advice of a "gearhead" relative, we switched from whatever oil the cars came with to Amsoil. We noticed an immediate increase in performance at the first oiil change.
I have read that you should always continue to use the same brand of oil in a car once you have changed to a particular brand. Any thoughts?
My poor Subaru (as opposed to my husband's) has less than 1,600 miles on it. All I can do right now is get in it and start it. I'm still relearning how to walk. Don't know if I will be able to drive again, but am hoping.
