Good day guys this is my first post here. This is also my first Outback. I am going to pick up an 04 Outback that needs an engine. I have a low mileage, 74k, engine in a Forester that is a parts vehicle. I am not sure if the new car has variable valve timing but am sure the Forester does. Have been told if the vehicle does not have it you can use the engine with the vvt left unplugged. before the corrections start I realize Subaru has another name for variable valve timing.
Any advice would be welcomed.
